As a Compliance Officer, you’ll play a key role in ensuring issuer compliance with internal and external regulatory frameworks while supporting market operations and listing processes. Your work will directly contribute to building trust in Azerbaijan’s capital markets and promoting good governance practices among issuers.

What You'll Be Doing

• Review issuer-submitted documents to ensure full compliance with applicable legislation and internal regulations; identify non-conformities and propose corrective actions
• Participate in the review and update of internal rules and procedures, ensuring alignment with evolving regulatory requirements
• Maintain regular contact with issuers and market participants, providing guidance on compliance-related matters and monitoring ongoing processes
• Track regulatory developments, both local and international, and translate findings into internal guidelines, compliance reports, and risk assessments
• Monitor the listing process to ensure procedural compliance with legal and internal standards
• Conduct research on capital market trends and sectors, preparing analytical insights and presentations
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of issuer data and documentation; oversee proper storage and entry into internal systems
• Keep internal databases and reporting tools updated in a timely and accurate manner
• Collaborate with legal and cross-functional teams to support compliance objectives and operational alignment

Who We're Looking For

You're a strong fit if:

• You have graduated from Finance, Economics, Law, Business Administration, or a related field 
• You are interested in compliance, capital markets regulation, and financial transparency
• You have strong attention to detail and can identify inconsistencies or risks in documentation and processes
• You are well-organized, capable of managing multiple regulatory tasks under tight deadlines
• You are proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and open to learning internal compliance systems and tools
• You are proactive, responsible, and demonstrate high integrity in sensitive or regulated environments

Additional points will be given if you also have: 

• Knowledge of capital market instruments and business strategy. 
• You have experience working in a collaborative, cross-functional environment. 
• You are enthusiastic and flexible with a readiness to take initiative.
