As a Listing Officer, you’ll play a key role in ensuring issuer compliance with internal and external regulatory frameworks while supporting market operations and listing processes. Your work will directly contribute to building trust in Azerbaijan’s capital markets and promoting good governance practices among issuers.
What You'll Be Doing
- Establish and develop business relations with existing and prospective capital market participants (issuers, investment companies, financial institutions, etc.)
- Identify the needs and objectives of capital market participants and provide actionable recommendations to the product development department.
- Participate in business events, forums, and find potential issuers in order to implement established business goals (KPI) and attract capital market participants to the stock exchange.
- Be aware of market trends, changes in legislation and other issues that may affect the activity of market participants in the stock exchange and to communicate them.
- Forming the issuer's portfolio, supporting and controlling the issuers' trading, listing and emission processes.
- Make proposals for ensuring and increasing the participation of international financial institutions and market makers in the stock exchange.
- Make suggestions on improving the listing rules.
- Respond to inquiries from market participants and closely collaborate with other structural units within the company (product development, marketing, legal, etc.)
- Promote innovation, openness to cooperation and high professionalism within the team.
Who We're Looking For
You're a strong fit if:
- You have a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
- You have at least 1 years of work experience in Investments, Capital Markets, or Banking, with expert knowledge of financial instruments and market operations
- You have a strong interest and knowledge in finance, economics, and capital markets
- You have strong attention to detail and can identify inconsistencies or issues in documentation and processes
- You are well-organized and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously
- You are proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and open to learning internal digital tools and systems
- You are proactive, responsible, and demonstrate high integrity in dynamic or regulated environments
Additional points will be given if you also have:
- Knowledge of capital market instruments and business strategy.
- You have experience working in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
- You are enthusiastic and flexible with a readiness to take initiative.
