We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Medical Manager to lead and oversee the full spectrum of medical operations for the 3rd CIS Games 2025. This senior leadership role is vital in ensuring the medical services all event venues, with a strong emphasis on high-level coordination, regulatory compliance, and medical excellence.

• Location: Baku-Ganja (with required relocation to other regions as necessary)
• Job Type: Temporary Executive Contract.
• Travel: Frequent travel across regions required

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Medical Leadership:

• Direct the planning and execution of overarching medical strategies for the event, aligning with international best practices and organizational goals.

Cross-Functional Oversight:

• Collaborate with other departments, logistics teams, and government bodies (TƏBİB,  Azərbaycan Respublikasının Səhiyyə Nazirliyi) to integrate medical services into overall event operations.

Emergency Systems Command:

• Lead the development and supervision of large-scale emergency response systems, trauma protocols, and contingency planning.

Senior Team Leadership:

• Supervise and mentor a multidisciplinary medical team including medical managers, chief physicians, paramedics, doctors and support staff.

Regulatory Governance:

• Ensure full compliance with international and national health regulations, including AMADA protocols and public health mandates.

Medical Infrastructure Supervision:

• Oversee procurement, setup, and operation of advanced medical infrastructure including mobile clinics, command centers, and rapid-response units.

Risk Mitigation & Intelligence:

• Lead medical risk assessments, surveillance systems, and real-time incident tracking throughout the event lifecycle.

Executive Stakeholder Management:

• Act as the lead liaison with ministries of health, sports federations, emergency services, and international medical delegates.

Required Qualifications:
Education:

• Medical Degree (MD/DO or equivalent); Master’s degree in Healthcare Management or Public Health is a strong plus.

Experience:

• Minimum 8–10 years in medical leadership roles, preferably in international sports events, public health emergencies, or mass gatherings.

Advanced Medical Expertise:

• Comprehensive knowledge of trauma care, sports medicine, mass casualty protocols, and emergency command systems (ATLS, ACLS, MIMMS, etc.).

Executive Leadership:

• Proven experience managing cross-regional teams and executing high-stakes medical operations under pressure.

Certifications:

• Advanced certifications in Emergency Medicine, Disaster Management, and Incident Command Systems (ICS).

Languages:

• Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in Russian or other CIS languages is an asset.

Adaptability:

• Ability to thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments with frequent travel and operational challenges.
