Responsibilities (Managerial & Operational)
- Define project scope, timelines, and resource plans for cybersecurity initiatives such as vulnerability remediation, identity & access management, and security tool deployments.
- Coordinate efforts between internal IT/security teams, compliance units, and third-party vendors.
- Monitor project progress, manage risks, and ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies and frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001).
- Provide regular status updates and risk reports to project team, CISOs, and stakeholders.
- Support the integration of cybersecurity project management practices with enterprise PMO standards.
- Lead implementation of security controls across networks, endpoints, and cloud environments.
- Oversee tasks such as penetration testing coordination, SIEM/SOC enablement, patching programs, and incident response planning.
- Track mitigation actions from security audits and vulnerability assessments.
- Ensure cybersecurity projects align with data protection laws and internal policies
- Maintain documentation including risk registers, mitigation plans, and technical integration guides.
- Foster communication among cybersecurity, infrastructure, and business stakeholders.
- To carry out other tasks related to the position assigned by management

Requirements Analysis / Documentation
Personnel specifications
Diploma:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in information technology, Information Security, Cyber Security, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of 4–5 years of project management experience, including leading infrastructure, software, system integration, and cybersecurity-related initiatives.
- Proven ability to manage medium to large-scale integration projects from start to finish.
Computer Skills:
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
- Knowledge of project management software (Azure DevOps, Manage Engine, MS Project and etc.) and integration tools.
Languages:
- Azerbaijani – Fluent
- English – Excellent
- Russian – Desirable
Specific areas of expertise:
- Related Certificates for project management: PMI – PMP or Prince2; PMI ACP
