Job responsibilities
- Receive, register, and process claims related to lost, damaged, or missing goods;
- Analyze the root causes of damages (transportation, storage, packing, handling errors, etc.);
- Collect and verify supporting documents (acts, photos, warehouse/courier reports, waybills);
- Prepare and submit claims to responsible parties (carriers, warehouses, partners);
- Monitor deadlines and statuses of claim resolution;
- Coordinate with internal departments (Day-to-Day Exceptions, Stock Control, Customer Support, Finance);
- Prepare regular reports on claims: amounts, root causes, compensation status;
- Participate in developing corrective actions to reduce recurring incidents;
- Maintain the claims database, monitor returns and compensations.
Requirements
- Excellent business correspondence skills, including preparation of official documents and analytical reports;
- Ability to analyze complex cases, develop, and implement systemic solutions;
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and strategic thinking;
- At least 1-2 years of experience in claims management or a related field (logistics, customer support, legal);
- Education: preferably in law or finance;
- Proficient in using computer software (Excel, Word );
- Negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
