Position summary

• The Nurse is responsible for supporting the health, safety, and well-being of students. This full-time role includes daily health monitoring, first aid, emergency response, and preventive healthcare support, while collaborating closely with children, parents, teachers, and school management to maintain a safe and healthy learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily health screenings for children entering the preschool, including temperature checks and basic physical assessments. 
• Monitor children’s overall health and identify signs of illness, infectious diseases, allergies, or discomfort. 
• Provide first aid and immediate medical support in cases of falls, collisions, fractures, fever, allergies, injuries, or other emergency situations. 
• Immediately inform parents and management regarding illnesses, accidents, injuries, or emergency health situations. 
• Keep children under observation when necessary and follow up on their health condition throughout the day. 
• Implement infection prevention and isolation measures when contagious symptoms are identified. 
• Ensure first aid kits and medical supplies are available and up to date. 
• Support the implementation of the school’s health, hygiene, and safety procedures. 
• Promote a healthy, safe, and hygienic preschool environment for children and staff.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse certification is required. 
• Higher education in Nursing or Medicine. 
• Pediatric nursing experience is mandatory. 
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in pediatrics, preschool, or school health settings. 
• Experience in physical assessment and child health monitoring. 
• Knowledge of first aid, emergency response, infection control, and child safeguarding procedures. 
• Ability to maintain accurate medical records and documentation. 
• Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills. 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced preschool environment with children aged 3–6 years.
