Bureau Veritas Azerbaijan LLC is looking for a Material Engineer Quality Assurance Engineer-Materials who will ensure the quality, reliability, and compliance of the materials, components, and equipment used in the project, in accordance with the established standards and requirements.

Main Duties

• Inspections of materials, components, and equipment
• Verification of manufacturers test reports for materials, components, and equipment
• Undertake tests on materials, components, and equipment as directed by the Resident Engineer
• Ensure that the materials, components and equipment comply with the standards prescribed
• Prepare and submit reports on testing materials, components, and equipment.

Requirements:

• Bachelor or higher degree in engineering.
• Preferably a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in projects in the power sector; and laboratory and field-testing for high voltage materials, components, and equipment to IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission) standards as part of a quality assurance process
• Previous experience in international financed projects in Azerbaijan is an advantage 
• For expats the knowledge of Azerbaijani language is an advantage.
