We are seeking a qualified and experienced Mathematics Teacher for our Secondary International School, Canada Azerbaijan School, to join our team for the upcoming academic year.
Job Responsibilities
- Utilize technology and innovative teaching strategies in daily lessons;
- Plan and deliver Mathematics lessons aligned with the school curriculum (Canadian / International standards);
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment;
- Effectively manage classroom behavior to promote respect and engagement;
- Implement school policies and procedures;
- Assess and monitor student progress regularly;
- Provide constructive and timely feedback to students and parents;
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student development;
- Participate in departmental meetings and school-wide initiatives.
Background & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or a related field;
- Minimum 1 year of teaching experience in Mathematics;
- IELTS score of at least 7.0 or equivalent (C1 level proficiency);
- Experience in international or English-speaking schools is an advantage;
- Familiarity with international curricula (Cambridge / OSSD) is preferred;
