Role overview:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Demand Forecasting & Sales Planning Specialist to join our Planning team. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong analytical skills who wants to build a career in demand/sales forecasting and supply chain management.
What You'll be doing:
- Prepare and update demand forecasts at SKU and Brand level using sales history
- Collect and integrate inputs from commercial teams on factors affecting sales
- Analyze large sets of data in Excel (pivots, trends etc.) to support forecast accuracy
- Participate in monthly demand review meetings, supporting cross-functional discussion
- Defend your forecast recommendations by presenting data and insights
- Track forecast accuracy and provide insights
- Track inventory KPIs such as stockouts
- Support planning teams with demand-related data for production and inventory management
What we’re looking for:
- Higher education in Business, Economics, Mathematics or related field;
- 2 years of experience in analytics, supply chain or related role;
- Good communication skills, comfortable working with colleagues from commercial and finance departments.
Skills:
- Strong analytical skills and ability to handle large data volumes;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and forecasting tools;
- Strong communication skills (ethics in business communication, negotiation and presentation, decision-making, objections handling, teamwork, drive for results, teaching skills and trainability);
- fluent in Azerbaijani and Russian languages, English - Upper İntermediate
