Role overview:
- We are currently looking for a Legal Counsel to play a key role in ensuring the company operates in full compliance with applicable laws while effectively managing legal risks and protecting business interests. This position combines both strategic advisory and hands-on legal support across multiple areas of law.
What You'll be doing:
- Draft, review, and provide legal support for contracts and agreements;
- Provide legal advice to assigned departments on compliance, legality, and risk-related matters;
- Manage, register, and protect the Company’s intellectual property rights;
- Assess legal aspects related to the use of intellectual property in Company projects;
- Participate in initiatives and training programs led by headquarters;
- Monitor and analyse changes in applicable legislation and assess their impact on the business;
- Participate in internal audits and contribute to the development of improvements in legal practices;
- Assess compliance risks and develop strategies to mitigate them;
- Deliver training sessions for employees on legal and compliance-related topics;
- Provide ongoing legal support and consultation to internal stakeholders ;
- Ensure Company compliance policies align with local and international laws, regulations, and headquarters standards;
- Liaise with regulatory and supervisory authorities on compliance-related matters;
- Monitor compliance with data protection legislation and headquarters requirements ;
- Coordinate time tracking and administrative processes within the department;
- Monitor adherence to internal labor regulations and workplace policies.
What we’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law;
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in the legal field.
Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Fluent in Azerbaijani and Russian languages, English - Upper İntermediate
- Presentation skills
