Position Overview:
As a sales assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the sales and marketing team, helping to increase enrollments in culinary programs, driving sales for restaurant services, and ensuring an exceptional guest experience. You will work closely with both the sales and culinary staff to promote our offerings and assist with daily sales-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing leads and sales inquiries, both in-person and via phone/email.
• Respond to customer inquiries, provide detailed information about culinary courses, restaurant services, and events.
• Assist in maintaining an organized sales pipeline and database.
• Help promote and market culinary classes, workshops, and special events to prospective students and customers.
• Assist in the preparation of promotional materials such as brochures, flyers, and email newsletters.
• Attend prospective students during open house events and coordinate campus tours.
• Provide a high level of customer service by assisting students, restaurant guests, and prospects.
• Resolve issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner, ensuring satisfaction.
• Support the processing of sales transactions for restaurant bookings, event reservations, and program enrollments.
• Assist in preparing contracts, invoices, and other sales-related documentation.
• Handle payments and assist with refund or cancellation requests as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, leads, and customer interactions in the CRM system.
• Assist in compiling sales reports and tracking performance against targets.
• Be well-versed in the culinary school and restaurant’s offerings (courses, menu items, catering services, etc.) to accurately inform and sell to customers.
• Monitor and maintain inventory of sales materials and promotional items.

Qualifications:

• Previous  1-3 years’ experience in sales, customer service, or a related field is preferred. Experience in the hospitality or education sectors is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in Azerbaijani, Russian and English with the ability to engage with potential clients and students effectively.
• A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and building strong relationships with clients and students.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• A proactive, results-driven attitude with a focus on achieving sales goals.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and CRM software is preferred.
• Interest in Culinary Arts: A genuine interest in the culinary arts and knowledge of food trends or restaurant operations is an advantage.
• Work hours: Full-time/ 5 days a week with occasional flexibility for events or activities)
• Location: Based in the school and restaurant (occasional travel for events may be required).
