Reports to:  Procurement Manager

Position summary: The Procurement Junior Specialist is responsible for supporting the procurement process in sourcing and purchasing goods, services, and supplies for the company. This position is offered as maternity leave coverage, with an expected contract duration of 6 to 9 months.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in identifying potential suppliers and vendors.
• Gather quotations and ensure competitive pricing for all procurement needs.
• Maintain an up-to-date vendor database.
• Communicate with vendors to gather product specifications, availability, and delivery schedules
• Support the creation and issuance of purchase orders (POs) in line with business requirements.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of POs in the system.
• Track and monitor order status to ensure on-time deliveries schedules.
• Assist in the preparation and review of procurement contracts and agreements.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, guidelines, and regulations.
• Maintain organized records of procurement activities, contracts, and vendor documentation.
• Support inventory tracking and stock replenishment processes.
• Assist in the coordination of stock audits and inventory reconciliation.

Requirements:

• Excellent negotiation, customer service and consulting skills
• Minimum 1 year working experience in a clerical setting or in purchasing
• Strong market knowledge and experience in working across various functions, businesses and regions
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Advanced skills with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Skills in mathematics, finance or accounting.
• Good understanding and professional experience with Purchasing Contracts

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or related field.
• Language skills
• Fluency in Azerbaijani,  Good speaking and writing ability in Russian
