We are looking for candidates for the full-time position of Chief Accountant 

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Higher education in Finance.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Chief Accountant is required.
• Language skills: Azerbaijani, Russian, English.
• PMS certification is required (by the end of 2025)
• ACCA FR, FA certifications are an advantage.
• Strong ability to work under pressure and stress resilience.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Ensuring the accurate maintenance of accounting records in full compliance with applicable legislation and accounting standards;
• Monitoring bank accounts and overseeing the timely execution of payments;
• Managing petty cash, advances, and business trip reports in accordance with internal policies;
• Reviewing and reconciling accounts, ensuring consistency and accuracy in financial records;
• Coordinating the month-end and year-end closing procedures in alignment with established timelines;
• Calculating and processing all payroll types in strict adherence to legal requirements;
• Overseeing the preparation, submission, and follow-up of all correspondence, applications, and requests addressed to the State Tax Service;
• Responding to inquiries and correspondence from the State Tax Service in a timely manner;
• Submitting tax reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements;
• Preparing and submitting statistical reports in line with reporting requirements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis;
• Preparing and submitting reports to the State Social Protection Fund (DSMF) as required;
• Preparing financial statements in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Compiling and submitting Cash Flow, Profit and Loss (P&L), and Balance Sheet reports accurately and in a timely manner.
