Position Summary:
Supports the organization by ensuring excellence in Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) performance, maintaining compliance with international standards, and reducing workplace risks. The role involves conducting audits and inspections, preparing reports, coordinating HSE activities, and ensuring that all QHSE systems, equipment, and procedures are effectively implemented and maintained. The position also provides technical QHSE guidance to management and personnel to promote a culture of continuous improvement and safe operations.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure operational excellence in HSE performance and compliance by identifying and controlling health, safety, and environmental risks.
- Prepare Monthly Statistical Reports and submit them in a timely manner.
- Promote a culture of continuous quality improvement to reduce HSE risks and support a safe and efficient workplace.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to management and staff on QHSE matters.
- Conduct audits to ensure HSE standards, procedures, and legal requirements are met.
- Support management in the development, implementation, and continual improvement of the HSE Management System.
- Perform regular HSE inspections and investigations, prepare accident/incident reports, and follow up on corrective actions.
- Conduct weekly and monthly Quality and HSE meetings and maintain related documentation.
- Order, receive, inspect, and maintain required HSE equipment and supplies.
- Perform internal audits to verify compliance with ISO 9001:2015 (Quality), ISO 14001 (Environmental), and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety) standards.
- Ensure the company’s HSE policy is fully understood, implemented, and maintained across all departments.
- Coordinate logistics activities related to Inspection and QHSE operations, ensuring timely availability of equipment, materials, and documentation.
Required qualifications & experience
- Bachelor’s degree or technical/vocational qualification in HSE, Engineering, Quality, or a related discipline (preferred).
- Minimum 4–7 years of experience in QHSE roles within industrial, engineering, or operational environments.
- Strong understanding of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
- Experience in incident investigation, risk assessment, and audit processes.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
- Formal HSE-related training and/or certifications (NEBOSH, IOSH, Lead Auditor, etc.) preferred.
