We are looking for a Data Analyst who takes ownership of key business metrics and goes beyond surface-level reporting. This role is for someone who questions unexpected changes, investigates root causes, and turns data into clear, actionable business insights. You will play an important role in identifying weaknesses, risks, and growth opportunities across betting, user, and financial data, while helping stakeholders understand not just what is happening, but why.

Responsibilities

• Analyze betting, user, and financial data to identify trends, anomalies, and business risks
• Extract key insights from complex datasets and translate them into clear, actionable business recommendations
• Identify business weaknesses and inefficiencies using data-driven analysis
• Perform ad-hoc analyses to support strategic and operational decision-making
• Build and maintain meaningful reports and visualizations for management and stakeholders
• Work closely with non-technical teams to understand business questions and translate them into analytical tasks
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and proper interpretation
• Clearly explain what is happening, why it is happening, and what should be done next

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python
• Experience with BI tools (Tableau preferred; others are acceptable)
• Solid understanding of statistics and analytical thinking
• Ability to interpret data beyond numbers and explain underlying causes and business impact
• Proven experience in turning analysis into actionable business insights
• Strong communication skills, especially when working with non-technical stakeholders

Nice to Have

• Experience in betting, gaming, fintech, or other high-volume transactional businesses
• Knowledge of user behavior analysis, funnels, cohort analysis, or retention metrics
