Job description:

Accounting Manager / Chief Accountant reports to the CEO. Accounting Manager will be responsible for accounting, taxation, reporting, and budgeting functions. The basic job duties will include, but not be limited to:

• Coordinate and supervise the work of financial accounting department;
• Prepare and update as needed, the accounting policies and procedures in line with the local and IFRS requirements;
• Ensure preparation of management accounts for each month by a set deadline;
• Ensure timely submission of tax filings to the tax authorities by a set deadline;
• Work with the IT, marketing and other units to coordinate the proper flow of accounting information and resolve issues on an on-going basis;
• Manage ERP platform and automation of controls over business processes;
• Build processes to obtain reliable and quality business data;
• Set goals for and monitor the performance of staff in line with the Company policies;
• Assist management in performing financial control, budgeting and reporting roles;
• Support international fund-raising activities with investors and funds.

Requirements:

• Education: University education in finance, accounting and/or other related business disciplines;
• Work experience: A minimum of 5-year work experience is required. Candidates with extensive experience in IT and payments sector will be given strong preference. 
• IT skills: Knowledge of MS Office programs (Excel, Word), familiarity and/or experience with ERP systems is a plus;
• Languages: The more languages you speak, the better

Remuneration and prospects:

• Remuneration will be competitive; initial salary is dependent upon specific knowledge of the sector, accounting area and experience;
• Subsequent revisions of salary will depend on performance and market changes;
• Possibility to be promoted to the Finance Director;
