A leading international energy technology company is seeking an Electronic Technician to join its team. This role plays a vital part in ensuring the timely delivery and reliability of equipment used in field operations.
The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with a background in electronic maintenance, especially in relation to cementing equipment and diesel engine components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance on assigned equipment in line with established programs and standards.
- Ensure accurate data entry into the Computerized Maintenance Management System regarding parts used, work orders, labor hours, and equipment history.
- Support initiatives aimed at reducing non-productive time and improving efficiency.
- Actively participate in continuous improvement programs to enhance equipment turnaround times and reduce maintenance delays.
- Implement cost-saving projects such as part reuse and planned repairs.
- Assist in equipment failure investigations and root cause analysis.
- Comply with internal competency and training systems.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics or a related technical field.
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in equipment maintenance.
- Experience troubleshooting and maintaining cementing skids such as CPS 361 or CPS 636.
- Familiarity with electronic systems in diesel engines (CAT, Deutz, Detroit).
- Knowledge of Allison electronic transmission systems.
- Experience in servicing non-radioactive densitometers.
- Working knowledge of HMI and DCU systems for diagnostics and repair.
- Proficiency in English with strong communication skills.
