We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Finance Manager to lead and oversee the company's financial operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for financial planning, reporting, compliance, budgeting, internal controls, and financial strategy management — all aligned with the company's strategic growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with the legislation of the Republic of Azerbaijan, as well as internal regulations, policies, and instructions approved by the company’s management.
- Provide overall leadership and coordination of all structures under the Finance Department.
- Oversee the effective organization of financial activities and ensure proper internal control mechanisms.
- Manage company assets, including budgeting, financial planning and execution, accounting and management reporting, audit processes, fixed assets management, and efficient use of financial and labor resources.
- Represent the company in relations with investors, financial institutions, and financial professionals.
- Develop annual financial plans in line with the company’s strategic objectives and monitor their implementation.
- Participate in recruitment, training, and professional development of finance department staff.
- Organize and manage economic activities, conduct strategic and current financial analysis, and ensure cost optimization.
- Ensure adequate cash flow management to meet the company’s current obligations.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial information for independent audits.
- Prepare financial statements in accordance with IFRS and submit them to management and relevant authorities as required.
- Continuously improve and modernize the financial management system.
- Prepare monthly and daily internal financial reports.
- Conduct portfolio analysis and lead internal financial audits.
- Implement and manage financial software and systems.
- Ensure accurate and complete data submission during tax and audit inspections.
- Coordinate with independent auditors and manage the audit reporting process.
- Bear personal responsibility before the company’s management for the proper organization of financial and economic activities and the effective functioning of the Finance Department.
- Oversee working capital management and cash flow management to ensure optimal liquidity and timely fulfillment of financial obligations.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Financial Management.
- Proven experience working with ERP systems (specifically financial and accounting modules).
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and local financial legislation.
- Experience in budgeting, financial planning, reporting, and auditing.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and MS Office applications.
- Strong knowledge of English or Russian language is required; knowledge of both is a strong advantage.
- ACCA or CFA certification is required.
