Key Responsibilities:
- Implement energy efficiency initiatives, conducts research and development activities, and introduces new equipment, technologies, and technical innovations.
- Develop technical and process policies, as well as strategies, for departments involved in the production, processing, and maintenance of mechanical, instrumentation, and energy equipment, and ensures their implementation.
- Regularly report on, monitors, and analyzes the execution of long- and short-term asset operational programs, initiatives, and schedules, and implements necessary corrective actions to achieve defined targets.
- Define the philosophy and strategy of interface departments related to the organization and control of activities and services that directly impact field operations, and ensures their implementation.
- Establishe and oversee technical and process policies in the area of reliability and integrity of mechanical and energy equipment.
- Ensure the preparation, coordination, approval, and implementation of long- and short-term operational programs, initiatives, and schedules required to achieve strategic goals and objectives.
- Participate in long-term drilling and well operation plans (WO and Rigless).
- Contribute to engineering activities of project teams, including facilities at the design stage.
- Develop oil and gas production plans, submits them for management approval, and ensures their execution upon approval.
- Develop hydrocarbon (HC) export plans, submits them for management approval, and ensures their execution upon approval.
- Organize and monitor operations, including presenting asset operational and regulatory reports to stakeholders.
- Coordinate departmental plans and work programs in collaboration with department heads and division managers.
- In collaboration with other asset function leaders, develops and approves measures to ensure safe working conditions during the implementation of new equipment and processes.
- Conduct regular audits of technical and technological processes at field facilities to ensure cost optimization and minimization of downtime.
- Assign asset experts to the HAZOP team and participates in the approval of HAZOP outcomes.
- Coordinate the Management of Change (MOC) process and implements necessary improvements to enhance procedural effectiveness and cost efficiency.
- Participate in the preparation and approval of technical scopes of work for contracts across various operational areas.
- Participate in budget planning.
- Organize and oversee the preparation of the OPEX budget by the asset’s operational departments.
- Monitor the execution of the OPEX budget by the asset’s operational departments.
- Ensure timely and consistent vessel movements and loading operations, manages cargo acceptance for offshore platforms, and oversees vessel and helicopter scheduling.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in Petroleum Engineering
- 15+ years of experience and minimum 5 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Gas reservoir experience
- Experience in gas/condensate and gas industry, including production planning, production engineering, petroleum engineering, well integrity engineering and operations.
- Experience with production & activities planning, including knowledge of petroleum engineering, offshore production, interface with green and brownfield projects, understanding of field development planning and execution, drilling & completion and process engineering, reservoir management, well modelling, stimulation and testing, computer programming and flow assurance
- Preferably knowledge of Intervention Engineering
- Preferably experience in international O&G Operator company
