Job Description:

A leading company is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Head of Project Management / Director of Strategic Projects to lead and oversee the implementation of key organizational initiatives. The ideal candidate should have a strong project management background, preferably with consulting experience at one of the Big Four firms (Deloitte, EY, KPMG, PwC).

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead strategic planning and execution of large-scale, high-impact projects
• Establish and implement project management methodologies and governance frameworks
• Ensure alignment of project outcomes with business strategy and corporate goals
• Provide leadership and direction to project managers and cross-functional teams
• Monitor project risks, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
• Advise the executive board on project prioritization and progress
• Promote a culture of operational excellence, agility, and accountability
• Prepare and present project reports at the executive and board level

Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in project management or strategic implementation
• Experience in Big 4 consulting firms is required
• Proven track record of managing complex, cross-functional projects at a senior level
• Strong knowledge of PMI, Agile, PRINCE2 methodologies (certifications preferred)
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, IT, or related field
• MBA or other advanced degree is an advantage
• Fluency in English is required; Azerbaijani and/or Russian is a strong advantage
