Job Summary
We are seeking a highly driven and strategic Head of Sales Department to lead and expand our sales efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of industry trends, a proven track record in driving sales growth, and the ability to lead a high-performing team. Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales professionals, ensuring high performance and strategic alignment.
- Drive business development across renewable energy, oil & gas, utilities, and infrastructure sectors.
- Implement effective CRM systems and customer engagement strategies.
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations in customer data management.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and strategic partners.
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, operations, product) to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to adapt sales strategies.
- Oversee sales pipeline, provide accurate forecasts, and report on revenue performance.
- Negotiate and close complex contracts with enterprise-level clients.
- Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and networking events.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 7+ years of sales/business development experience in FMCG, Energy, or Oil & Gas.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated career progression with increasing responsibility.
- Fluency in Azerbaijani & English; Russian preferred.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
