Key Responsibilities:
Development and Implementation of HSE Policies:
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve the company’s Health, Safety, and Environmental policies.
- Ensure compliance with local legislation, industry regulations, and international standards (e.g., ISO 45001, ISO 14001).
Risk Assessment and Management:
- Identify potential hazards in the workplace and conduct risk assessments.
- Develop and implement control measures to mitigate risks.
Training and Awareness:
- Organize HSE induction and periodic training sessions for all employees.
- Conduct emergency drills and awareness campaigns to ensure preparedness.
Site Inspections and Internal Audits:
- Conduct regular inspections of work areas to ensure compliance with HSE regulations.
- Perform internal HSE audits and prepare detailed reports for management.
Incident and Accident Investigation:
- Promptly investigate workplace incidents, accidents, and near-misses.
- Identify root causes and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain proper documentation and report findings to management.
Environmental Protection:
- Implement measures for waste management, pollution control, and environmental sustainability.
- Monitor environmental impact and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
Monitoring of Safety Equipment and PPE:
- Ensure the proper use and maintenance of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Check the functionality of fire extinguishers, alarms, and other emergency equipment.
Contractor and Subcontractor Compliance:
- Monitor HSE performance of contractors and subcontractors on site.
- Ensure that all external parties comply with the company’s HSE standards.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain records of inspections, trainings, incidents, and corrective actions.
- Prepare and submit regular HSE performance reports to management.
Continuous Improvement:
- Recommend improvements to safety procedures, policies, and operational practices.
- Promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility within the organization.
Requirements for the Candidate:
- Higher technical education
- Internationally recognized HSE certificates
- Minimum 3–5 years of work experience as an HSE Manager
