Location: Karabakh region
Company: Our client – a leading company in the construction sector
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HSE policies and procedures on construction sites
- Conduct regular risk assessments, audits, and safety inspections
- Organize and deliver HSE trainings, inductions, and awareness sessions for employees and subcontractors
- Investigate incidents, prepare detailed reports, and implement corrective measures
- Maintain accurate HSE documentation and ensure timely reporting to management
- Liaise with government authorities and external auditors
- Lead and support on-site HSE team to ensure compliance with safety standards
Requirements:
- Higher education in Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or related fields
- Minimum 5 years of experience in HSE roles within the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of Azerbaijani labor and environmental legislation
- Familiarity with international HSE standards (ISO 45001, ISO 14001, etc.)
- Excellent leadership, coordination, and communication skills
- Fluency in Azerbaijani is mandatory; English or Russian is an advantage
- Willingness to work full-time on-site in the Karabakh region
