Industry: Oil & Gas
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end procurement processes for key projects, including sourcing, negotiation, contracting, and supplier performance management
- Ensure procurement activities are in compliance with internal policies and applicable regulations
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (engineering, operations, legal, finance) to define procurement strategies and specifications
- Identify, assess, and qualify suppliers and subcontractors to build a reliable vendor base
- Monitor market trends and conduct cost and risk analyses to optimize procurement decisions
- Manage tendering processes, evaluate bids, and prepare procurement recommendations
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and performance data
- Resolve vendor disputes and ensure timely delivery of goods and services
- Provide mentorship and support to junior procurement staff
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 5–7 years of procurement experience, preferably in the oil and gas or energy industry
- Strong knowledge of procurement practices, vendor management, and contract administration
- Familiarity with international sourcing and logistics
- Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); Russian or Azerbaijani is a plus
