Industry: Oil & Gas

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end procurement processes for key projects, including sourcing, negotiation, contracting, and supplier performance management
• Ensure procurement activities are in compliance with internal policies and applicable regulations
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (engineering, operations, legal, finance) to define procurement strategies and specifications
• Identify, assess, and qualify suppliers and subcontractors to build a reliable vendor base
• Monitor market trends and conduct cost and risk analyses to optimize procurement decisions
• Manage tendering processes, evaluate bids, and prepare procurement recommendations
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and performance data
• Resolve vendor disputes and ensure timely delivery of goods and services
• Provide mentorship and support to junior procurement staff

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
• Minimum 5–7 years of procurement experience, preferably in the oil and gas or energy industry
• Strong knowledge of procurement practices, vendor management, and contract administration
• Familiarity with international sourcing and logistics
• Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities
• Fluency in English (written and spoken); Russian or Azerbaijani is a plus
