A leading international company is currently seeking a Legal Counsel to support its growing operations. This role will play a key part in providing legal guidance, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting the business in various legal matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts and agreements
• Ensure the company’s operations comply with applicable laws and regulatory requirements
• Manage, register, and protect the company’s intellectual property rights
• Monitor compliance with data protection legislation and internal headquarters policies
• Identify potential compliance risks and develop strategies to mitigate them
• Support internal stakeholders on legal matters related to business operations

Requirements

• Higher education degree in Law
• Proven experience in corporate or commercial law
• Strong knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks
• Experience in contract drafting and negotiations
• Understanding of data protection and intellectual property matters is an advantage
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Fluency in English and Russian (Azerbaijani is an advantage)
