Job Responsibilities:
- Establishing relationships with international carriers, freight forwarders, and logistics providers to ensure uninterrupted international transportation processes.
- Developing strategic relationships with key stakeholders, including international regulatory bodies, to ensure the proper functioning of transportation processes.
- Implementing technological solutions to enhance transparency, improve operational efficiency, optimize routes, and enable shipment tracking.
- Conducting risk assessments on international routes and applying appropriate strategies to minimize potential risks.
- Organizing communication with Sales, Legal Department, Warehouse, site personnel and Customers to align import and export operations with business needs and customer requirements.
- Developing proposals to reduce delivery costs and improve supply chain efficiency.
- Monitoring the latest international trade laws, tariffs, and trade agreements that may affect import-export operations.
- Leading training and supervision processes to ensure that team members are knowledgeable and compliant with international transport procedures and safety standards.
- Preparing detailed reports on transportation activities, costs, and efficiency indicators for senior management review.
- Developing optimization proposals for senior management to expand the Center's capabilities in international transportation.
Candidate Requirements:
- Higher education (in transportation, logistics, or business administration fields)
- Minimum of 5 years of work experience in transportation, logistics, or other related fields
- Comprehensive knowledge of regulatory acts, international transport regulations, customs procedures, and cross-border transit requirements
- Proficiency in Azerbaijani, English, and Russian languages
- Familiarity with the latest software solutions and transport management technologies used in international logistics
- Proficiency in MS Office programs
