The company operating in the marine & construction industry is looking for a Payroll Accountant. The main role of the Payroll Accountant is to support the Finance Department in a wide range of accounting & financial operations-related tasks.

Responsibilities:

As a Payroll Accountant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Finance Department in various tasks, including:

• Salary calculation, preparation of Payroll Register Journal.
• Preparation reports related to salary, direct/overhead salary allocation to cost centers.
• Data entry to the ERP system.
• Managing sick leave documents, conducting related calculations, and data input to the payroll system.
• Conducting termination calculations.
• Preparation and respective payments process in e-banking system, salary related.
• Order salary cards and maintain relevant reports.
• Preparing necessary reports upon management's request and carrying out assigned tasks.
• Providing support to the manager in the month/year-end close process.

Requirements:

To thrive in this dynamic role, we are seeking individuals with:

• Strong knowledge of Labor Legislation.
• A minimum of 1 year of working experience in a related area.
• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Economics/Finance.
• Successful completion of F3-Financial Accounting (ACCA) is a plus.
• Working experience with Excel and accounting software.
• Fluency in Azerbaijani, with a minimum Pre-Intermediate level of English. Knowledge of other languages is an additional benefit.
