Location: Baku, AZ - Remote
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Software QA Engineer/Software PM to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our software products. The successful candidate will work closely with engineering, product, and business teams to define test strategies, execute comprehensive testing, and continuously improve software quality throughout the development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for web, mobile, and API-based applications
• Review product requirements, technical specifications, and user stories to ensure test coverage and clarity
• Identify, document, and track software defects using issue-tracking tools
• Collaborate with developers to reproduce issues, validate fixes, and perform regression testing
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts (UI, API, integration, regression)
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, performance, and exploratory testing
• Validate data integrity, security, and system integrations
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release readiness reviews
• Continuously improve QA processes, tools, and best practices
• Ensure releases meet quality standards before production deployment

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 4+ years of experience in software quality assurance
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLC/STLC
• Experience with test case management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira)
• Hands-on experience with manual testing for web and/or mobile applications
• Basic understanding of SQL and databases
• Ability to analyze logs, API responses, and system behavior
• Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, etc.)
• Experience testing RESTful APIs (Postman, Swagger, REST Assured)
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI)
• Familiarity with cloud platform (AWS)
• Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments
