A Project Engineer (PE) is experienced Senior Telecom Engineer in designing and supervising complex modifications in telecommunication systems such as marine radar, VHF/UHF communications, fibre-optic systems, and multi-level data networks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct engineering assessments and develop required changes in system design, infrastructure, or functionality based on COMPANY scope of work.
- Provide engineering support for developing telecommunication system modifications in compliance with COMPANY standards, documentation practices, and change management procedures.
- Ensure engineering assurance of work packs and related documentation, identifying and addressing potential risks to affected systems or services.
- Supervise and execute on-site modification works safely and in compliance with COMPANY standards.
- Develop and coordinate laboratory and on-site testing procedures and activities.
- Implement agreed technical activities to ensure successful handover of modified infrastructure or components into operation.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of local laws and regulations related to telecommunication infrastructure operations.
- Well-versed in COMPANY engineering documentation standards and engineering change management procedures.
