The MAPS Specialist shall be a Lead Telecom Engineer with advanced expertise in MAPS infrastructure design, functional specifications, and operational methods. The role requires strong knowledge of overall MAPS operations, including the ability to troubleshoot performance deviations across hardware components. The specialist must demonstrate expert-level understanding of VTMS application architecture, functionality, maintenance methods, and human-machine interface customization. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support the resolution of reported MAPS system or component issues. 
• Provide technical consultation and support to telecom healthcare personnel and COMPANY representatives during routine operations. 
• Review Site Maintenance Procedures and Preventive Maintenance Routines for technical adequacy; report any deviations or concerns. 
• Develop technical method statements for corrective and break-fix maintenance, including risk identification, service impact, and execution sequence, with reference to COMPANY engineering documentation. 
• Contribute technical expertise to root-cause analysis of system failures or performance deviations. 
• Support modification design development, including test procedures, work packs, and technical documentation. 
• Liaise with VTMS software OEM and hardware manufacturers to troubleshoot issues and assess enhancements. 
• Lead end-user feedback collection on system performance and improvement needs when requested. 
• Prepare annual obsolescence reports on MAPS hardware components. 
• Perform ad-hoc tasks within SME expertise and continuously enhance professional knowledge and skills

Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in troubleshooting and maintaining MAPS system software and hardware is required.
