Deloitte is seeking a high potential Compliance Specialist candidate for client acceptance (KYC procedures), third-party acceptance, Anti-Money Laundering, Anti-Corruption and Trade Controls with the following qualifications based in Baku: 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferably in Law, Social Sciences or Business Administration 
  • 2-3 years of experience in background checks in terms of compliance
  • Experience in Anti-Money Laundering, Anti-Corruption and Trade Controls regulations is an advantage
  • Excellent command of the Microsoft Office programmes (mainly Excel, Word, Power point)
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken Azerbaijani and English
  • Effective organizational, planning and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently whilst contributing to the priorities of the team and the business
  • Strong commitment to continuous learning and development
  • Ability to timely manage multi-tasking requests

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Performing and oversighting the background checks and “Know Your Client” procedures on potential clients and third party entities
  • Ensuring timely and consistent responses
  • Effectively using global client acceptance tools and systems for client acceptance procedures
  • Ensuring relevant data is properly maintained, documented, timely archived and deleted in accordance with Deloitte’s global and local policies and local regulations
  • Consulting with the team leader regarding specific risk and “Know Your Client” matters and timely escalating potential risks
  • Ensuring compliance with Anti-Money Laundering, Anti-Corruption and Trade Controls programs and timely escalating potential risks
