Senior Financial Reporting Specialist

We are in search of a candidate with exceptional potential to fulfill the role of Senior Financial Reporting Specialist, tasked with overseeing operations in our Baku Office and responsible for Azerbaijan and Georgia.

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar business setting
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on effective interpersonal interactions
  • Strong analytical abilities to interpret financial data accurately
  • Efficient task prioritization and timely completion
  • Proficient negotiation abilities
  • Keen attention to detail even in demanding situations
  • Advanced Excel skills, experience in SAP Hana with exposure to BW reporting is an advantage
  • Fluent command of English and Azerbaijani languages, both written and verbal
  • Commitment to personal growth and acting as a brand ambassador

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed monthly reports by analyzing complex financial data
  • Prepare monthly Profit and Loss statements and balance sheets
  • Compare actual results with budgeted targets and analyze variances and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Play an active role in the budgeting process
  • Reconcile selected BW reports with SAP Hana on a monthly basis
  • Coordinate with other departments to gather accurate information for reporting
  • Contribute to local IFRS Reporting and Management Reporting, overseeing reporting matters in Azerbaijan and Georgia
  • Provide reliable financial information to stakeholders, including external auditors
  • Assist in external audit processes
  • Generate ad-hoc reports as needed
  • Develop and implement new reporting requirements
