We are looking for a Chief Accoutant to join our Ecofinance Azerbaijan team within Dyninno Group fintech division.

Ecofinance is a fast-growing fintech company delivering accessible B2C financial services worldwide. Through our P2P platform, we offer flexible products like lines of credit and instalment loans via brands like Creditprime and Honey Loan – all online for maximum convenience. With over 5 million clients in Romania, Moldova, and the Philippines, Ecofinance ranks among the top ten microfinance providers by loan volume.

As a Chief Accountant, you will handle day-to-day accounting operations, manage financial documentation, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with Azerbaijani and international standards, while also helping to build and implement financial processes as EcoFinance prepares to launch in Azerbaijan.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Organize, systematize, and control all incoming and outgoing accounting documents.
  • Ensure the timely collection, processing, and calculation of financial indicators and reports.
  • Handle payroll accounting for company employees.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of new accounting and reporting processes to support EcoFinance’s market entry in Azerbaijan.
  • Provide management support in tax and accounting matters.
  • Analyze the company’s financial performance and identify trends.
  • Prepare and submit financial statements and tax returns in accordance with local regulations.
  • Collect, plan, and control the distribution of financial resources.
  • Ensure compliance with Azerbaijani regulatory requirements and international accounting standards.
  • Develop proposals and recommendations for improving the company’s financial performance.
  • Communicate and collaborate with local and external auditors.
  • Carry out other duties as assigned by the direct manager.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in accounting or financial management, ideally within fintech, banking, or financial services.
  • Strong knowledge of Azerbaijani tax and accounting legislation.
  • Professional accountant certificate in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On Accounting”.
  • Familiarity with IFRS or international accounting standards is an advantage.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
  • Fluency in Azerbaijani and good working knowledge of English or Russian.
