What You’ll Do

Testing & Analysis

• Review and analyze system specifications and requirements to identify testing needs early in the development cycle.
• Develop comprehensive test plans, scenarios, and strategies tailored to each project’s scope and risk level.
• Execute manual and automated test cases to validate end-to-end workflows and ensure full coverage of functional and non-functional requirements.
• Evaluate product code and web UI behavior against acceptance criteria and technical specifications.
• Conduct regression, integration, and post-release testing to confirm the stability of deployed features and fixes.
• Apply a structured and methodical approach to testing, ensuring adherence to industry-standard QA principles and best practices.

Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare and maintain detailed test documentation, including plans, cases, and execution reports.
• Create and manage defect logs, documenting issues, reproduction steps, and severity.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure defects are clearly understood, prioritized, and resolved efficiently.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

• Work closely with developers, analysts, and product owners to ensure quality goals are integrated into all project stages.
• Participate in sprint planning, and retrospectives to identify quality improvements.
• Help troubleshoot issues during development and post-deployment phases.
• Suggest process and tooling improvements to increase test efficiency and product reliability.

Team Support & Mentorship

• Support recruitment efforts for QA positions, contributing to candidate evaluations.
• Maintain a strong sense of professional ethics, confidentiality, and data protection at all times.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Technology–related field is plus.
• 2+ years of hands-on QA/QC experience, preferably with web-based software projects.
• Demonstrated experience in test planning, preparation, and execution across multiple project types.
• Strong knowledge of software testing principles, methods, and best practices.
• Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and browser developer tools.
• Experience using bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail).
• Knowledge of API testing tools (Postman) and basic automation frameworks (Selenium, Playwright, or similar) is a plus.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Ability to break down complex technical issues into clear, actionable insights.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Collaborative, proactive, and able to manage multiple testing tasks efficiently.
• Committed to continuous learning and improving QA methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated QA workflows.
• Basic SQL knowledge for backend validation.
• Exposure to performance testing or security testing environments.
• Domain knowledge in Petroleum Engineering is plus
