We are seeking a Procurement Manager to oversee sourcing, negotiations, contract management, reporting, and shipping-related activities to support our expanding operations in Azerbaijan.

Key Responsibilities:

• Initiate and manage procurement processes based on approved purchase requisitions (PRs).
• Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers through a structured vendor selection process, including due diligence.
• Lead contract and techno-commercial negotiations, ensuring favourable terms on pricing, payment, delivery, and SLAs.
• Oversee procurement activities for projects, including Capex and Opex requirements.
• Conduct technical and commercial evaluation of supplier quotations and finalise vendor selection as per approved criteria.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships while monitoring performance using KPIs such as quality, delivery, and service levels.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to support demand planning based on data and market trends.
• Ensure optimal inventory levels through effective stock management, including just-in-time, safety stock, and warehouse coordination.
• Conduct inventory audits, cycle counts, and warehouse planning to minimise waste, damage, and obsolescence.
• Oversee logistics and shipping activities, ensuring compliance with customs, import/export regulations, and industry standards.
• Identify cost reduction opportunities and implement strategies to optimise procurement spend without compromising quality.
• Track, analyse, and report procurement and supply chain performance, ensuring compliance, continuous improvement, and alignment with business objectives.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field; relevant certifications are an advantage.
• Minimum 8+ years of experience in procurement and supply chain management, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Strong negotiation, vendor management, and contract management skills.
• Good understanding of logistics, shipping, customs procedures, and supply chain compliance.
• Ability to develop and monitor KPIs, analyse data, and drive continuous improvement.
• Fluency in Azerbaijani and English (written and spoken); knowledge of Russian is an advantage.
