Job Description:

The Financial Control Department Manager will oversee the company’s financial control activities, ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance with financial regulations. This role will also involve developing financial strategies and supporting business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the preparation of financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
• Manage the budgeting process, including preparation, monitoring, and forecasting.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making by senior management.
• Develop and implement internal control policies and procedures to safeguard company assets.
• Coordinate audits (internal and external) and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.
• Monitor financial performance against budgets and provide variance analysis.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data in the company’s financial systems.
• Lead and develop the financial control team through mentoring and training.

Candidate Requirements:

• Education: Higher education in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
• Degree: Master’s degree.
• Professional Certifications: CIMA, CMA, or ACCA.
• Work Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in financial control, accounting, or a related field, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Language Skills: Fluency in Georgian, English, or Russian is essential.
