Responsibilities:
- Coordinate internal and external technical resources, vendors, and suppliers for the flawless execution of projects.
- Ensure that project is delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
- Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation. Develop a detailed project documentation to effectively initiate, plan, execute, monitor, and close the project tasks and relevant activities.
- Regularly provide management with update on project status using the project status report document.
- Manage changes to the project scope and schedule. Update management and project key stakeholders about any changes.
- Work with Procurement team to coordinate and track procurement of goods and delivery of materials purchased as a part of relevant project.
- Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Report and escalate to management as needed.
- Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
- Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
- Work with commercial team to identify and develop new business opportunities with existing and new customers.
- Facilitate discussions with customers to identify the business and functional requirements to define the technical and commercial offers.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor or higher degree in Computer Science or equivalent. Project Management Professional (PMP) or higher.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in project management in IT and Telecom industries.
Skills:
- Theoretical and practical project management knowledge.
- Strong practical experience in project management which was gained through managing middle size projects.
- Experience in strategic planning, risk management and/or change management.
- Good knowledge and handling of project management methodology and techniques.
- Proficiency in project management software tools.
- Strong communication skills, both client-facing and internal.
- Analytical skills, scenario analysis and plan for a range of outcomes.
- Written and verbal communication skills (Azerbaijani, Russian, English).
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
- Solid presentation skills.
- Good understanding of the wider objectives of the project.
- Ability to work positively with the wide range of individuals involved in project management.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Good knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation procedures.
- The ability to find innovative ways to resolve problem.
