Position Summary:
The Operations Co-ordinator is responsible for managing all operational activity within their client base. They are responsible for developing and maintaining existing client relationships, providing all necessary support to ensure the successful completion of the workshop, and to secure future opportunities from these clients. In addition, the Operations Supervisor is required to create and develop new opportunities to support the growth and success of the business.
In addition, this role has accountability for the Workshop, ensuring that the Workshop Supervisor and the workshop team deliver as required to the business with all necessary tools and equipment in stock and in good condition ready for use. The Operations Supervisor is also responsible for the management and allocation of the Field Technicians within location. The Operations Supervisor may also be required to complete Field work as and when required.
The Operations Co-ordinator is responsible and accountable for (but not limited to) the following:
- Manage client relationships ensuring continuous communication and support throughout the life cycle of any work scope.
- Ensure understanding of client requirements and complete all necessary technical and commercial proposals.
- Maintain client relationships to ensure future opportunities are identified and secured.
- Plain and coordinate jobs, including preparation of schematics, proposals, programs, mobilisation of personnel and equipment and torque and drag analysis.
- Identify opportunities for growth and increase market share and profitability.
- Specific and targeted marketing of new innovations.
- Enhance Company profile within the Oil and Gas market within the Asia Pacific region.
- Participate in forecasting activities.
- Assist with tender preparation.
- Liaising with agents and suppliers as per operational requirements.
- Stock and equipment management, including financial accountability for all purchases.
- Accountable for the smooth running of the Workshop.
- Carry out training and development with the Operations team as required.
- Carry out Field work as and when required
Leadership:
- Effectively oversee and manage the workload of the Workshop Supervisor and their team, the Field Technicians and the Operations Coordinator ensuring they are delivery a high standard.
- Effective communication with the team on all work-related matters, ensuring communication is regular, timely and accurate to promote engagement and inclusion.
- Conduct annual performance reviews and facilitate development discussions with the team, assisting career development and talent management.
- Manage any employee performance issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Support continuous development by delivering internal training on technical and commercial matters to the team as required.
QHSE & Compliance:
- Adherence to all Company and customer Policies and Procedures.
- Advise on any identified improvements to Company policies, procedures and processes.
- Compliance with all Company and Customer Health, Safety and Environmental legislation as applicable to the specific location.
- Ensure compliance with relevant local labour laws and legislation.
- Active participation in Company and clients’ safety programmes.
- Review and participation in Risk Assessments as required.
- Communicate client specific QHSE requirements to company team as appropriate.
- Participate in raising and closing NCRs, particularly those focused on client or supplier issues.

- Downhole drilling technology knowledge and experience 5 years
- Well bore clean up
- Directional drilling
- Wellbore modelling experiences
