Job Responsibilities
- Conducts daily monitoring of the credit portfolio
- Prepares reports approved by the department
- Analyzes the effectiveness of the scoring system
- Performs analysis based on call listening and documents deficiencies
- Records violations of monitoring guidelines
- Collaborates closely with the Centralized Credit Approval, Sales, and Control Teams during the monitoring process
- Ensures compliance with FAZ rules during desktop monitoring
- Informs management of any suspicious cases
- Prepares proposals to improve the general credit process
- Prepares and submits proposals to the committee for restructuring suitable client loans
- Contributes to departmental activities within rules set by the supervisor and participates in field monitoring when needed
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field required. Master’s degree is preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience in credit risk, analytics, monitoring, or underwriting
- Minimum 1 year of experience specifically in credit risk
- Experience with scoring systems, vintage, migration, roll rate, diversification reports, and stress test scenarios is essential
- Strong verbal communication and active listening skills
- Familiarity with lending, approval, credit risk, and monitoring procedures
- Meeting departmental KPIs as defined internally
LANGUAGE SKILLS
- Fluent in Azerbaijani; English and Russian at conversational level are considered an advantage
- Ability to understand English banking terminology
COMPUTER SKILLS
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
