Gabala Hospitality Group is seeking an experienced and dynamic Pre-Opening General Manager to lead the launch of a new internationally branded premium hotel in Gabala.
This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the pre-opening phase, establishing operational excellence, and ensuring a successful hotel launch followed by strong and stable operational performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning and execution of the hotel pre-opening strategy
- Ensure full compliance with brand standards and operational requirements
- Develop the organizational structure, workforce planning and departmental setup
- Oversee recruitment, talent acquisition and training in collaboration with the HR team
- Participate in and monitor budgeting, CAPEX and OPEX planning
- Establish and implement operational procedures (SOPs)
- Ensure readiness for brand audits and operational compliance
- Establish robust post-opening operational systems to ensure high levels of guest satisfaction
- Maintain regular reporting to ownership and executive management
Candidate Requirements:
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in hotel management
- Proven pre-opening experience is essential
- Experience with international hotel brands is highly desirable
- Strong leadership, strategic thinking and decision-making capabilities
- Solid understanding of financial performance metrics and operational KPIs
- Demonstrated ability to build, lead and develop high-performing teams
- Fluency in Azerbaijani and English
