Key Responsibilities:

Deputy to Production and Planning Manager is responsible for ensuring smooth production operations and effective planning processes. Will be responsible for coordinating production schedules, optimizing resources, and ensuring compliance with pharmaceutical regulations and company standards. This position requires strong leadership, analytical skills, and the ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives. 

Production & Quality:

  • Prepare production plans and monitor progress across all stages, ensuring accurate reporting of results. 
  • Manage the flow of raw materials, components, and semi-finished goods in line with production schedules. 
  • Report daily, weekly, and monthly production performance against established targets to senior management.  
  • Ensure that production and warehouse activities are carried out in compliance with GMP, GDP, and local regulatory requirements.  
  • Lead improvement projects aimed at enhancing efficiency, capacity, and quality in production areas.  
  • Coordinate Production and Planning teams, including shift scheduling and workforce planning.  
  • Oversee and manage production and planning processes through SAP or ERP systems.  
  • Represent the Production and Planning departments during internal and external audits. 
  • Contribute to planning spare parts, equipment, and material requirements.
  • Adhere strictly to working hours.
  • Comply with occupational safety, health, and energy efficiency requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, managers, and other departments.

Additional requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or Pharmacy. 
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in production and planning within the pharmaceutical industry. 
  • Strong knowledge of cGMP and pharmaceutical regulations. 
  • Proven skills in planning, organization, and reporting. 
  • Proficiency in SAP, ERP, or similar production planning software. 
  • Experienced in team management; collaborative, analytical, and solution-oriented mindset. 
  • Familiar with Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) requirements.
  • Proficient in English (written and spoken).
