Role Synopsis:
- Quality Assurance Specialist will provide assistance with the implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of the Quality Management System within the Company's operations and manufacturing activities.
- Quality Assurance Specialist should ensure that the products, manufacturing processes, and systems comply with all quality specifications and standards, customers' requests, industry trends, and governmental regulations. Quality Assurance Specialist will cooperate with such departments of the Company as Production, Quality Control, Technical Department, Supply Chain Management, and Commercial department in order to create and sustain a quality-conscious working environment.
- Quality Assurance Specialist should be well aware of quality assurance concepts, processes of textile manufacturing (preferred), quality management system principles, auditing techniques, as well as methods of root cause and corrective and preventive actions analyses.
Key Accountabilities:
- Support the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Company's Quality Management System.
- Ensure quality procedures, work instructions, forms, and records are properly documented, controlled, and updated.
- Monitor compliance with established quality standards and procedures across all departments.
- Participate in the development and revision of quality policies, procedures, and standards.
- Identify process deviations and quality risks and recommend corrective actions.
- Support process validation and quality assurance activities throughout production operations.
- Collaborate with production teams to improve process consistency and product quality.
- Ensure that internal quality audits are done according to the approved audit plans.
- Prepare audit reports and take corrective/preventive actions based on the findings of such audits.
- Ensure that audit recommendations are addressed and the measures are fully implemented.
- Support customer audits as well as external audits from certification organizations.
- Analyze quality problems, non-conformities, and customers' complaints.
- Help conduct the analysis of root causes using appropriate quality management tools and techniques.
- Monitor action plans for corrective and preventive actions and ensure their effective implementation.
- Document lessons learned and incorporate them into business operations.
- Help analyze and solve customer complaints.
- Identify trends with quality problems and implement preventive solutions.
- Collaborate with quality control, production, and commercial departments to solve customer complaints.
- Take part in projects dedicated to increasing customer satisfaction and quality performance.
- Maintain quality records in accordance with company and certification requirements.
- Ensure document control processes are effectively implemented.
- Monitor retention, revision, and distribution of controlled quality documentation.
- Prepare quality reports and summaries for management review meetings.
Desired background:
- Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering (preferred), Quality Management, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional certifications in Quality Management, Internal Auditing, ISO 9001, Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma are considered an advantage.
Required skills:
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Management, or Process Improvement roles.
- Experience within manufacturing, production, processing or related industrial environments is strongly preferred.
- Experience supporting quality management systems and internal audit programs.
- Practical experience in root cause analysis and corrective action management.
- Familiarity with quality standards and customer quality requirements.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Azerbaijani and English – Fluent (spoken and written)
