Glensol, operating in the oil and gas sector, is seeking an experienced Buyer to support procurement activities related to technical equipment and spare parts for operational projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage procurement of technical materials, equipment, and spare parts required for oil and gas operations.
  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure cost-effective and timely procurement.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with company procurement procedures.
  • Monitor order status and coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Review technical specifications and coordinate with engineering and operations teams to ensure procurement requirements are met.
  • Maintain supplier relationships and monitor vendor performance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of total procurement experience, including experience in the oil and gas industry.
  • Proven experience in purchasing technical materials, equipment, or spare parts.
  • Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; ERP system experience is an advantage.
  • Fluent in Azerbaijani and English
