Glensol, operating in the oil and gas sector, is seeking an experienced Buyer to support procurement activities related to technical equipment and spare parts for operational projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage procurement of technical materials, equipment, and spare parts required for oil and gas operations.
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure cost-effective and timely procurement.
- Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with company procurement procedures.
- Monitor order status and coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.
- Review technical specifications and coordinate with engineering and operations teams to ensure procurement requirements are met.
- Maintain supplier relationships and monitor vendor performance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of total procurement experience, including experience in the oil and gas industry.
- Proven experience in purchasing technical materials, equipment, or spare parts.
- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office; ERP system experience is an advantage.
- Fluent in Azerbaijani and English
