Role Summary

Ensure that all construction activities in a high-rise building project meet quality standards, project specifications, and regulatory requirements. Job responsibility involves planning, inspection, documentation, and coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Assurance 

• Develop and implement Project Quality Plan (PQP).
• Prepare Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) for all construction activities.
• Establish quality control procedures and checklists in accordance with codes and standards (e.g., ISO, ACI, BS, ASTM) and Design consultant’s Specification.

Material Inspection

• Review material submittals, test reports, and certificates for compliance with project specs.
• Conduct material inspections upon delivery to the site.

On-Site Inspection and Supervision

• Perform daily inspections of construction activities (e.g., structural, architectural, MEP works).
• Monitor concrete pouring, steel reinforcement, formwork, and finishing works for compliance.
• Verify alignment, levels, and dimensions as per approved drawings.

Testing and Verification

•  Witness tests and review test reports for compliance.

Non-Conformance Control

• Identify and report non-conformances (NCRs).
• Propose and verify corrective and preventive actions.
• Monitor closure of NCRs with documentation.

Documentation and Reporting

• Maintain records of inspection reports, test results, material approvals, and quality documents.
• Submit daily, weekly, and monthly QA/QC reports to management and consultants.

Coordination and Communication

• Liaise with Consultants, and Contractors on quality issues.
• Coordinate with MEP, structural, and architectural teams for integrated QA/QC checks.

Compliance and Audits

• Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety standards, and contractual specifications.
• Carry out quality audits periodically.
• Implement and follow up on audit findings and recommendations.

Skills

• Good knowledge on Autocad and MS office like MS Word, MS Excel etc. is preferable.
• Good knowledge of english and turkish languages.
