Pre-Construction Phase
Cost Planning and Estimating
- Good knowledge on cost estimation (analysis of rates)
- Develop detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQ) based on architectural and engineering drawings.
Tendering and Procurement
- Can assist team preparing tender documentation (e.g., BOQ, technical specs, pricing schedules).
- Evaluate contractor bids
Value Engineering
- Analyze design options and materials to identify cost-saving alternatives.
Construction Phase
Cost Control and Budget Management
- Monitor project expenditures vs. budget throughout construction.
- Track and control costs to prevent overruns.
- Certify interim valuations and payments to contractors.
Measurement and Valuation
- Conduct on-site measurement check prior to final certification of Contractor’s invoice to assess completed work.
- Prepare and verify monthly valuations and payment applications.
Contract Administration
- Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions.
- Manage changes to the project scope, including variations and claims.
Post-Construction Phase
Final Account Preparation
- Checking of contractor’s final invoices/ final accounts and ensure all financial matters are settled.
- Prepare report and highlight any outstanding contractual or payment issues.
Project Auditing and Reporting
- Submit detailed financial reports and audit trails.
General Responsibilities
Coordination with Project Team
- Work closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and site teams.
- Attend site meetings and progress reviews.
Risk Management
- Identify and evaluate financial and contractual risks.
- Recommend mitigation strategies to reduce exposure.
Compliance and Documentation
- Ensure adherence to local building codes, safety regulations, and standards.
- Maintain thorough records and documentation of all cost-related activities.
Work Experience & Skills:
- Worked minimum 5 years in Multistorey residential complex and exposure to QS activities.
- Good knowledge on Autocad and MS office like MS Word, MS Excel etc. is a MUST
- Good knowledge of Measurement Codes is essential.
- Good knowledge of english and turkish languages.
