Role Overview:
We are seeking a Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business needs and technology. You will play a key role in gathering requirements, analyzing processes, and supporting product development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and communicate business requirements and workflows for the digital banking app, ensuring alignment with business strategy and user needs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and prioritize business requirements, acting as the main liaison between business teams and the IT/development team.
- Translate business needs into clear technical documentation, including Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
- Facilitate workshops, meetings, and discussions to refine app features and ensure shared understanding across teams.
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, reviews, stand-ups) to support iterative development and continuous improvement.
- Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate that solutions meet agreed-upon requirements, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
- Monitor and analyze current digital banking processes, identifying opportunities for optimization, innovation, and enhanced user experience.
- Stay informed about industry trends, compliance standards, and best practices to ensure the app remains competitive and compliant.
- Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of requirements, decisions, changes, and progress for transparency and reporting purposes.
- Provide ongoing support and communication to internal teams and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within the banking or fintech sector.
- Strong understanding of mobile app development processes and digital banking solutions.
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to produce detailed documentation, wireframes, process diagrams, and user stories.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills.
- 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within the banking or fintech sector.
- Strong understanding of mobile app development processes and digital banking solutions.
