Is actively seeking to appoint the right candidate for the following position: Primary School Library Teacher (Full-Time)
Campus: Baku
Stream: International (Cambridge) Application Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (related field)
- Strong communication skills in both English and Azerbaijani (spoken and written)
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience (school experience is an advantage)
- Good communication skills with students and staff
- Basic knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook & MS Teams)
- Ability to follow school policies and procedures
- Experience or interest in delivering drama/storytelling activities for students
Main responsibilities:
- Helps organize library activities for students and teachers.
- Conducts engaging activities for students, such as drama sessions and storytelling, to promote creativity, imagination, and a love for reading.
- Helps with ordering and receiving new books for the library.
- Registers new books and helps organize textbooks by class.
- Follows library rules and helps inform students and teachers when needed.
- Helps collect and arrange books at the end of the school year.
- Assists in removing old or damaged books according to school rules.
- Keeps basic records of library books and inventory.
- Helps ensure lost books are replaced or paid for.
- Supports the annual checking of library books.
- Maintains discipline and order in the library.
