Main Requirements:
- Higher (Bachelor’s) education
- Minimum 2+ years of relevant work experience in occupational health, safety, hygiene, or a related field
- Strong time management skills
- Excellent organizational and coordination abilities
- High level of attention, caution, and responsibility
- Decision-making skills and ability to act in emergency situations
- Strategic planning and analytical thinking skills
- Ability to work with confidential information, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Continuously monitor employees’ compliance with Health, Safety, Environment and Hygiene (HSE/Hygiene) rules, instructions, guidelines, processes, and procedures applicable within the hotel
- Provide recommendations to hotel management to ensure a safe, healthy, and hygienic working environment
- Submit proposals to management regarding disciplinary measures for managers or employees who violate occupational safety rules, procedures, or internal instructions
- Participate in the investigation of all workplace accidents and incidents, prepare reports, and maintain relevant documentation
- Ensure employees are provided with appropriate and high-quality uniforms, personal protective equipment (PPE), and hygiene tools in accordance with established standards
- Ensure safe working conditions at all workplaces, conduct employee safety and hygiene briefings, and organize regular knowledge assessments
- Prohibit the operation of equipment, machinery, or tools that pose a risk to employee life, health, or could cause accidents
- Monitor continuous compliance with environmental protection laws and regulations, and ensure proper environmental documentation is maintained
- Develop and implement environmental protection and hygiene action plans for hotel operations
- Conduct periodic internal environmental and hygiene monitoring in hotel facilities (kitchen areas, technical rooms, laundry, public areas, etc.) and submit improvement proposals
Monitor and control:
- Emissions of harmful substances into the atmosphere
- Disposal of wastewater into surface water sources
- Management of solid waste generated during hotel operations and wastewater treatment
- Proper disposal of used filters from gas, dust, and ventilation systems in accordance with regulatory requirements
- Carry out other duties and instructions assigned by the direct manager
