Role Overview:

IMPERIAL LOGISTICS, is fast growing freight forwarding company in the International Logistics company, is seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented LOGISTICS INSURANCE MANAGER to optimize our daily logistics operations. This role is responsible for ensuring precise documentation with the insurance company, obtaining quick and high-level compensations, securing contracts accurately, and striving for customer satisfaction.

Main responsibilities:

• Identifying and evaluating potential risks related to transportation and storage of goods;
• Securing and managing insurance policies that cover various aspects of logistics, such as cargo, liability, and property;
• Handling and processing insurance claims in the event of loss or damage to goods;
• Ensuring accurate and complete documentation for all insurance-related transactions;
• Ensuring that all insurance practices comply with industry regulations and company policies;
• Negotiating terms and coverage with insurance providers to ensure optimal protection at the best cost;
• Working with other departments, such as operations and customer service, to integrate insurance solutions into the logistics process;
• Communicating with clients about insurance coverage, claims processes, and policy details;
• Preparing reports on insurance coverage, claims status, and risk management strategies;
• Managing insurance costs and seeking opportunities for savings without compromising coverage.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in freight forwarding, supply chain and logistics insurance;
• Strong knowledge of customs clearance procedures, import/export regulations, and international freight operations;
• Fluent spoken and written English skills;
• Experience with ERP systems and logistics management software is preferred;
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook);
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills;
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines

Working conditions: 

• Location: Baku city;
• Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 5 working days per week;
• Sector: International Logistics of Containers from Country to Country; 
• Salary: 1000 – 1600 Azn (to be determined during the interview process)
